Morgan was one of the actors in the documentary film Safe Sex for Men and Women, which focuses on AIDS prevention as well as education. Morgan gave a percentage of her earnings to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is also a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a part of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Team. Morgan has also led several other fundraising efforts in the fight against AIDS and also testified before a special Congressional Commission about AIDS Education. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon-general of Canada has contacted that she replace him for a number of AIDS related occasions. She also hosted the AIDS Awareness Special along with Steve Bell. Ted Koppell has interviewed her twice about AIDS during Nightline. Morgan was nominated for the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially for Morgan. She co-starred in the ABC television series Your Money or Your Wife alongside Joan Rivers. The summer began by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner and was also co-starring Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. The next part of her project brought Morgan to Luxembourg in which she appeared as Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also in the show. Morgan also starred as the lead in a psychological thriller which was solely produced by the USA Network. It received one of the highest ratings that the network has ever had.
